Dr. Arun Adkoli completed MBBS in the year 1987. He further did his Masters degree (MS Ophthalmology) from Aurangabad in the year 1997. He got FGO from Bangalore West Lions Eye Hospital in the year 1998. He was awarded Dr. M.C.Modi Award for Best Surgical Fellow. He is a specialist in Phaco emulsification, MICS, Lasik and Glaucoma surgeries. He has the credit of having conducted more than 10,000 surgeries successfully. Dr.Arun has published many papers in prominent journals.

Dr. Arun founded Sunetra Hi-tech Eye Hospital in 1999. He joined Rotary in 2010 and was the President of Rotary Bangalore Southwest 2018-19. Dr. Arun’s hobbies include travel & wild life photography. Dr. Arun is the Managing Trustee of Indira Ramana Trust which conducts Free Eye check up for School children, Elderly and needy. Dr. Arun apart from actively practising yoga works for spreading awareness about yoga.

H. Jaishanker, a qualified B.Tech Engineer is founder-CEO of Cyclo Electric Devices, specializing in the manufacture of Electrical Safety Equipment like Control transformers, Plugs and Sockets, Cable Couplers, Control drives, etc., for the Mines, Railways, Atomic Energy, Power plants, Cement plants, ONGC, NTPC, Refineries and various other core sector areas. He also offers Consultancy in the Design of Lightning Protection and Earthing system for Power Plants and Process industries and is a certified practitioner in Quality Management and TQM techniques.

Jaishanker lives by the Rotary’s moto ‘Service above Self’ and practices the same as an active Rotarian. When he was President during 2003-04 Rotary Koramangala transformed itself into the big league by increasing its membership strength to over 50 members and was adjudged as one of the Best Clubs in the mid size category. Subsequently Jaishanker went on to serve R.I.District 3190 taking several key responsible positions including that of Assistant Governor.

Jaishanker believes that there is no Charity, but only Humanity and has contributed liberally to ‘The Rotary Foundation’ and earned the title of a MAJOR DONOR. He is also an active member of KASSIA - Karnataka Small Scale Industries association and the Bommasandra Industries association. He is a firm believer of ethical principles and loves singing, playing Cricket outdoors and Chess indoors.

Kashinath holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. He is currently Engineering Director in Silicon Photonics Product Division, Connectivity Group of Intel Corporation, Bangalore, India. He leads the Silicon Photonics Product Division group in Bangalore, primarily chartered to develop end-to-end solution to design high-speed electrical Integrated Circuits used mainly in pluggable optical modules and high-speed optical transceivers products. Kashi Prabhu joined Intel in 2017. Prior to that he was Senior Engineering Manager leading Serial Link & Memory Interface solutions at Rambus. Earlier to that he was part of Karnataka Microelectronics Pvt Ltd. Kashinath has overall 20+ years of experience in Semiconductor Industry and is co-author of several conference papers and US patents.

On Charitable & Social Service side, Kashinath has been part of several community NGOs, Citizen Groups for the past 15+yrs and is involved in community & Resident Welfare Association (RWA) based service projects with primary focus in the areas of Health-care, Basic Education & Literacy and Environment. Kashi Prabhu is member of Rotary Bangalore Lakeside since 2017 and one of the Trustees of Rotary Bangalore Lakeside Charitable Trust. He has held positions of Community Service Director and Club Secretary and will be the President of his club during 2021-22.

Pradeep Sudarshan is from Bengaluru and works as a software professional in a private company with an industry experience of 19+ years. Pradeep himself is a partially visually challenged person, which has kindled his passion to support and spread awareness of the noble cause of Eye Donation for more than 15 years! He is a life member for Eye Bank Association of India.

Pradeep joined Rotary three years ago as the Charter Secretary of World's first Rotary club by & for differently-able persons - Rotary Bangalore Abilities . He has been part of the R.I. District 3190 Avoidable Blindness Committee for the past one year.

On the personal front, Pradeep has got a small family of his parents, his younger brother's family, his wife and their cute little daughter.

Hailing from a lower middle class family in Tumkur, Shankar Rao graduated in Mechanical Engineering with distinction from BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore, thanks to National Merit Scholarship of Government of India. Starting his career in 1967 as a Graduate Trainee in HAL Aero Engines Division, Bangalore after becoming a short term lecturer in Sri Siddaganga Institute of Technlogy, Tumkur, Shankar served engineering industries trough HMT, TVS Group & Indo MIM for 37 years in various capacities before retiring as CEO of Indo-MIM Private Limited, Banglore in 2003. Shankar continues to serve the industry as a consultant and Chartered Engineer, being a Corporate Member of the Instutuion of Engiineers (India), Calcutta.

Having lost his beloved spouse due to illness in 2005, Shankar was motivated to take up Social Service of treating people for various illnesses with Simarouba Herbal medicine after learning about it in depth. His social work have been well recognized through various articles / interviews that were published in media - India Today Group as well as Sankara TV.

Rotary Bangalore Northwest Club invited Shankar to become its member in 2014. Shankara Rao served as Secretary in 2016-17 and then as President 2017-18 of the club. During his tenure as President his club got Second Best Club Award (small clubs category) in Dist 3190 for planting more than 2100 saplings inside the city creating lung space as well as sponsoring 50 paediatrics heart surgeries to poor & needy children through Rotary Needy Heart Foundation. Currently Shankara Rao is a member of Rotary Club of Mississauga-Meadowvale, R.I. District 7080, Canada.
